Getting
Here
Although some travellers coming by ship may arrive directly into
Seward upon their arrival to Alaska, Most people come either by
road or by air.
Anchorage, the state's most developed city is most likely the place
where you will find yourself when arriving to Alaska. From there,
you can travel south on the Seward Highway about 120 miles until
you reach Seward.

Box Canyon Cabins is located .9 miles from the Spenard Builders
Supply and Seward Highway off of Herman Leirer Road.

We're located approximately
four miles north of Seward Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. It takes about
10 minutes to drive into town where the restaurants, shopping and boat
tours are located. The cabins are nestled among tall Sitka spruce and
cottonwood trees on nine acres of forest. We have a pond just out the
front doors of the cabins --the scenery is absolutely beautiful!
If this is your first time to Alaska, and you are looking for advice on
what kind of weather to expect, we advise you to prepare for anything.
Alaska may be beautiful, but the weather conditions are fickle, and change
on a regular basis. During the summer months, you can expect temperatures
ranging from 60 to 80 degrees fahrenheit. When in the town of Seward,
moderate winds are common, however once away from ocean, this is not an
issue. So, make sure that you pack your warmer gear if you plan to do
any outdoor activities.
